Vijay Inder Singla announces another chance to teachers for mutual transfers

Punjab Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla has given another chance to the school teachers to resolve their problems regarding mutual transfers and asked them to upload their data on the e-Punjab portal by April 28.

As per the spokesperson of the Punjab school education department, 3582 newly recruited teachers have been given an exemption for mutual transfer.

The spokesperson said that both the candidates for inter-district adjustment should be of the same category while the two candidates for mutual adjustment in the district may be of different categories.

At the same time, it came to the notice of the department that some teachers, headteachers, and centre headteachers could not apply for the transfer due to non-fulfillment of transfer conditions.

Therefore, 3582 newly recruited teachers, Head Teachers and Centre Head Teachers recruited through direct recruitment have been given time till April 28 to upload their general information, service records, results, etc. on the e-Punjab portal for mutual transfers.

According to the spokesperson, apart from the above categories, aspiring teachers who have fulfilled the transfer requirements under the Teacher Transfer Policy 2019 can also apply online till April 28.

All these requests will be received for mutual transfers only.
