Viral Video: Man sells cotton candy in exchange for Human Hair
We all have heard about the term ‘barter system’ in our school days, but a viral video about a recent barter system made people go in shock all around the world.
A recent peculiar video went viral over social media in which a man named Pratap Singh was seen selling cotton candy, popularly known as Budiya Ke Baal in exchange for human hair. Yes, you heard it absolutely right!

A barter system which was popular in ancient times is basically a process in which there is an exchange of goods or services without the use of money.
A video, which has been recently shared by a food YouTuber Vishal went viral in which a man was spotted using a similar ancient barter system and selling kids' most lovable sweet cotton candy or 'Budhiya ke baal' in exchange for human hairs.
Visuals show kids lining up in front of the street vendor’s bicycles with a handful of hair.
He accepts the hair and gives them pink cotton candy in exchange!
A boy in the video has been heard saying that he had brought hair that had fallen from his mother’s head.
The video hit more than 80k views and garnered thousands of likes.
The amount of candy given to people is directly proportional to the amount of hair donated.
According to the sources, the vendor then collects the hair and sells it for a price of Rs 3,000 per kg to wig-makers.

People were shocked after watching the visual of this peculiar incident. One user commented, “Humare yha baal ke badle zeera milta hai,” another commented, “Baal ke badle baal” is a unique way of selling street food in India.”
