West Bengal : 2 killed, 40 injured in road accident
Two persons were killed and 40 people were injured when a vehicle lost control and rammed into a electric pole im Malda in West Bengal on Saturday.

According to Police official, the vehicle developed a technical glitch following which it rammed into a pole. One person died on the spot while another person succumbed to his injuries at Malda Medical College and Hospital, official said. The victims were returning to Govindpur village in West Bengal

The injured were rushed to various local hospitals in West Bengal where they are undergoing treatment.
