Canada deports Punjabi-origin gangsters for involvement in extortion and criminal activities

PTC News Desk: Canada has deported two gangsters of Punjabi origin for their alleged invovlvement in extortion and other criminal activities. In addition, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) clarified that foreign nationals engaged in criminal activities will not be allowed to stay in the country.

The accused have been identified as Arshdeep Singh and Sukhnaz Singh.

In a press release issued on March 18, the CBSA said it has prepared a list of foreign nationals involved in extortion and criminal activities and has begun deporting them through legal procedures. So far, 35 such offenders have been deported.

According to the agency, Arshdeep Singh and Sukhnaz Singh Sandhu were recently deported for their alleged involvement in extortion and organized crime in Canada.

According to the CBSA reports, Arshdeep had arrived in Canada in 2022 on a study permit with hopes of a better future but soon got involved with criminal gangs. He was arrested in November 2025, and investigations revealed his links to extortion, shootings, drug trafficking, and illegal arms networks.

Following his arrest in December 2025, orders were issued for his deportation, and he was escorted out of the country under security.

In another case, Sukhnaz Singh Sandhu, who had been living in Canada as a temporary resident since 2016, was also found involved in organized crime. After his arrest in November 2025, he was convicted under organized criminal activity provisions and has now been deported.

Officials stated that these cases serve as a warning to those who attempt to use Canadian soil for criminal purposes.
