'Full strength of US forces will come down on you': Donald Trump's stern warning to Iran if it attempted to strike US

PTC News Desk: US President Donald Trump on Sunday issued a stern warning to Iran against any retaliation on US assets

"If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US armed forces will come down on you at levels never seen before."

Trump's remarks followed Israel's airstrikes on Iran's defence ministry headquarters in Tehran and struck the world's largest natural gas processing unit linked to South Pars gas field along the Persian Gulf in Iran's Bushehr Province on Saturday.

While asserting that US had no role in Israel's overnight strikes on Iran, Trump took to his social media platform and said that he could 'easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel to cease the conflict.'

At least ten people lost their lives and more than 200 were injured in Israeli cities including Tamra, Bat Yam, and Rehovot. Four fatalities were reported in Tamra, while six people died in Bat Yam. Israeli President Isaac Herzog contacted the mayors of the affected areas, emphasizing the urgent need to protect civilians from further Iranian attacks.

The violence follows Israel’s launch of Operation Rising Lion, which targeted Iranian nuclear sites, scientists, and senior military leaders. In retaliation, Tehran initiated Operation True Promise 3, beginning a series of attacks on Saturday that extended into the night and early morning.

One of the most devastating incidents occurred in Tehran, where an Israeli missile struck a residential high-rise, killing at least 60 people—including 29 children—according to Iranian officials. In an earlier strike near a home in northern Israel, three women were killed and ten others injured.

In response, Iran fired another wave of missiles toward Israel. Emergency services reported that four people were killed when one of the missiles struck an apartment building in the Galilee region.
