Indian student shot dead at Chicago fuel station where he worked

PTC Web Desk: In a tragic incident, a 22-year-old student from Telangana, Sai Teja Nukarapu, was allegedly shot dead by armed men at a fuel station in Chicago on Friday. Sai Teja was pursuing MBA in the US. He worked part-time at the fuel station, where the crime took place, to support himself. According to BRS leader Madhusudan Thatha, the victim was not on duty at the time of the incident but had stayed back to help a friend.

Thatha, who visited the victim’s family near Telangana's Khammam district, shared their grief and recounted their account of the tragedy. He also engaged with the Telugu Association of North America (TANA) to provide assistance and seek justice.


Sai Teja had recently completed his graduation in India before moving to the US for higher education. His untimely demise has left his family and community in shock.
