Lok Sabha Election 2024: India's Lok Sabha Elections have received international praise, with many nations hailing it as the 'largest exercise of democracy in history' and congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his party's victory.
The United States (US) Spokesperson, Matthew Miller, praised the Indian government and voters for successfully completing the massive election process. However, the United States did not comment on specific outcomes, instead taking a neutral stance on global electoral winners and losers.
“I’m also not going to comment on winners and losers in elections as is our case around the world. What is important for us and what we have seen over the past six weeks is the largest exercise of democracy in history, as the Indian people came to the polls,” he stated.
