Interpol issues red corner notices against two UK, UAE based gangsters
New Delhi, July 6: Interpol issued red corner notices against two gangsters- Vikramjit Singh and Kapil Sangwan - based in the UAE and the UK.
Interpol's website has been updated with information on both gangsters. Vikramjit Singh, also known as Vikram Brar, is believed to be hiding in Dubai. He is a close associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and manages the gang's overseas operations.
In Delhi NCR, Kapil Sangwan runs his own gang. He is also affiliated with the Bishnoi gang. Both fugitives have escaped India and are operating Bishnoi's network from outside the country.
The Delhi Police recommended that the CBI Interpol branch issue a red corner notice (RCN) against gangster Kapil Sangwan, alias Nandu in June 2021.
Kapil, according to authorities, has made many extortion calls from the United Kingdom.
The NIA has now taken up the majority of the cases against Bishnoi and his gang.
