PTC Web Desk:  'The Amazing Thailand Grand Holi Festival 2025' turned Central Pattaya Beach into a vibrant sea of colours as over 1,00,000 tourists gathered for the grand three-day celebration during Thailand’s Golden Week. The festival, one of the largest Holi celebrations in Asia, showcased India’s rich heritage through music, dance, and cultural performances, strengthening the cultural ties between India and Thailand.

Organised by Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports (MOTS) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the festival is expected to generate a revolving fund of 1 billion Thai Baht, boosting the local economy and tourism sector. The event comes just weeks ahead of the BIMSTEC Summit, where Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend.

The festival featured electrifying Bollywood-style performances, a live DJ, and renowned artists like F. Hero, MH43, King Waari, and ISKCON Kirtan, ensuring a high-energy experience. Attendees indulged in an authentic Indian market, offering a variety of Indian delicacies and unique shopping experiences.

The highlight of the festival was the mass colour-throwing event, symbolising love, unity, and new beginnings. Tourists and locals came together to dance, sing, and immerse themselves in the joyful spirit of Holi.

Nikorn Sachdev, representing the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, welcomed attendees and emphasised Thailand’s deep cultural connection with India. He highlighted that 2.1 million Indian tourists visited Thailand in 2024, and the country expects an even higher surge in 2025.

Adding to the excitement, Thailand is set to host a mega grand amazing Deepawali Thailand Festival at the end of the year to further attract Indian tourists.

Several high-profile dignitaries graced the festival, including: Thapanee Kiatpaiboon, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Pramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya, Chuan Takur, president of the Indian Association of Thailand and Laksman Singh, president of the Indian Community Pattaya Association.

With a spectacular mix of music, dance, colours, and food, the Amazing Thailand Grand Holi Festival provided an unforgettable experience for visitors. The event not only celebrated Holi in grand style but also strengthened Thailand’s position as a top destination for Indian tourists.
