Abohar, August 25: A historic milestone unfolds as an Indian-origin family now assumes ownership of the prestigious Miss World America pageant, a crucial precursor to the renowned Miss World competition.
The accomplished family consists of Ekta, hailing from Abohar, and her husband Sanjay Saini from Ludhiana.
Their remarkable journey culminated in their recent appointment as the new national directors of the Miss World America pageant.
Last year, their daughter, Shree Saini, secured victory in the Miss World America contest and secured the position of the first runner-up in the Miss World pageant. Shree is a trailblasing figure as the first Indian-American Miss World America, having contributed her time to over a hundred non-profit organizations.
The Miss World Organization, headquartered in the UK, made a significant announcement, appointing Ekta and Sanjay Saini as the new national directors for the US, with their base located in Washington state.
Seattle, Washington is now the home of the National Miss World America organization's headquarters for the US.
