UK man disposes of wife's body, brutalises pets in heinous act

PTC News Desk: In a disturbing and horrifying crime that has rocked the UK, a 28-year-old man has confessed to murdering his wife and mutilating her body before disposing of it. Nicholas Metson admitted to the murder of his wife, 26-year-old Holly Bramley, in March, after initially denying the allegations and even making light-hearted remarks to police officers searching for her.

The gruesome details of the crime emerged during Metson's confession. It is believed that he stabbed his wife multiple times in their bedroom before dismembering her body in the bathroom. Shockingly, Metson then proceeded to place the body parts in plastic bags and stored them in his kitchen for a week.

Even more disturbingly, it has been revealed that Metson subjected the couple's pets to horrifying acts of cruelty. He reportedly placed Holly's pet hamsters in a blender and put their dog in the washing machine. After a week of keeping the dismembered body parts in his home, Metson sought the help of a friend to dispose of them. Together, they dumped the remains in a river.

The brutality and callousness of this crime have sent shockwaves throughout the UK. Metson's admission of guilt has brought some closure to the investigation, but the heinous nature of his actions has left a scar on the community. The case serves as a chilling reminder of the darkness that can lurk within seemingly ordinary individuals.

"Paid £50 to dispose of body," confessed UK man's gruesome act

It is believed that Metson fatally stabbed his wife in their bedroom and dismembered her body in the bathroom. He then packed the pieces into plastic bags and stored them in a kitchen larder, typically used for food storage, before arranging for their disposal.

Days later, just before police arrived, Metson reportedly paid a friend £50 to assist in disposing of the body parts. In a chilling text message, the friend wrote, "Just got £50 for disposing of a body," as revealed in court.

The following day, plastic bags containing human remains, including a hand and a shaved head belonging to Ms. Bramley, were discovered floating in the Witham river by a morning walker. Divers recovered a total of 224 body parts, with some still missing. The gruesome manner in which the body was dismembered made determining the cause of death impossible, according to court testimony.

Despicable creature

During court proceedings, Ms. Bramley's mother recounted that her daughter's marriage lasted just 16 months, marred by the controlling behavior of the "despicable creature" who isolated her from her family for years. She revealed that the couple were on the brink of separation when the perpetrator ended her life.

Following the murder, he disturbingly searched online for inquiries such as "What benefits do I receive if my spouse dies" and "Can a deceased person haunt me?"

Prior to her tragic demise, Ms. Bramley had sought refuge with her pet rabbits and sought police intervention after he cruelly slaughtered her hamsters by placing them in a food blender and a microwave oven. Additionally, he callously subjected her new puppy to a fatal ordeal by placing it in a washing machine, leaving Ms. Bramley to discover the lifeless animal inside the spinning appliance.

Horrific homicide

On March 24, Lincolnshire Police responded to distress calls and conducted a welfare check at the couple's residence regarding Ms. Bramley. Upon Metson answering the door, he alleged being a victim of domestic abuse by his wife, showcasing a bite mark on his arm to the officers.

It was revealed in court that the bite mark was inflicted during Ms. Bramley's attempt to defend herself from her husband days earlier, during the fatal incident. Upon further investigation, officers discovered blood-soaked sheets in the bathtub, as well as dark stains on the floor, alongside a pervasive scent of ammonia and bleach permeating the house. Metson later claimed to the police that his wife had left with a women's support group a few days prior.

The murderer, who awaits sentencing on Monday, has remained silent regarding the motive and method behind his wife's killing. His legal counsel, however, cited his diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder as a contributing factor to the crime.
