Navjot Singh Sidhu Condoles Demise of Renowned Wrestler Sukhchain Singh Cheema

The Local Government, Cultural Affairs & Tourism Minister, Punjab, Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu has expressed profound grief at the demise of renowned wrestler and Dronacharya Awardee Coach Mr. Sukhchain Singh Cheema who died last night in a road mishap. Condoling the demise of Mr. Cheema, the minister said that Mr. Cheema was a dedicated sportsperson who brought laurels to the country by winning Bronze Medal in 1974 Asian Games held in Tehran and afterwards earned fame as an excellent coach. Mr. Sidhu prayed to the almighty to give peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss. -PTC News
