Padmavati Controversy: Censor Board rejects Padmavati for technical reasons

After Rajput Karni Sena threatened to chop off Deepika Padukone’s nose, another Rajput organisation has announced to offer Rs. 5 crore to whoever beheads Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has sent the film back to its makers due to technical reasons, according to the sources. The film, sources say, will be sent back to the CBFC after the issue is sorted out by the makers. But is it really because of "technical reasons" as the CBFC claims that the film is not up to mark or is it something else taking up? Soon after the news was out, Twitterati outraged saying CBFC saying that "technical reasons" was nothing more than an excuse for sending the film back and that the film certification board should have called a spade a spade.
