17-year-old shot dead over money dispute in Bathinda
A student of Class XI was shot dead over money dispute on intervening night of Saturday and Sunday at Mehna Chowk in Bathinda.

The deceased has been identified as Raminder Singh , 17 year old . He was a student of St Xavier’s School here.

According to information, he had gone out with his friends for Basant Panchmi shopping on Saturday night. He along with his friends went to the accused mechanic Sunil Kumar, from whom they used to get their bikes repaired. During a conversation, the accused got into an argument with Raminder and fired at Ramninder in anger. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

Meanwhile, the Kotwali police station have registered a case against the accused mechanic.
