2 soldiers martyred and 1 militant killed in Jammu & Kashmir encounter
Two soldiers lost their lives in the ongoing encounter in Pulwama on Tuesday. One Jaish-e- Muhammed militant was killed during the encounter. Martyred soldiers have been identified as Havaldaar Baljeet of 55 Rashtriya Rifles and Naik Saneed of 10 Para.
Also, one soldier sustained serious injuries during the gunfight. He has been shifted to army base hospital in Srinagar.

According to media reports, three to four Jaish-e- Muhammed militants were hiding in the Ratnipora area, in Pulwama in South Kashmir. Joint security teams of Indian Army, 50 Rashritya Rifles, 182 Battalion of CRPF and SOG Phulwama launched a search operation in the area in the early hours of Tuesday.

As the security forces moved in, the militants opened fire at the security forces and an encounter broke out.

Also, internet services in the area are suspended.

The wreath-laying ceremony of Havildar Baljeet was organized. The officers paid rich tribute to him. He lost his life in an encounter with terrorists in Pulwama earlier today.
