29-year-old Haryana Youth gets 10-yr jail for molesting minor
A 29-year-old Haryana youth has been sentenced to undergo 10 years of imprisonment on Thursday for molesting a three-and-a-half-year-old girl child. The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Shashi Bala Chauhan, also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on him besides besides sentencing him to 10 years of imprisonment. The convict has been identified as Sachin.

On May 22, 2017, Sachin took the three-and-a-half-year-old girl child to his house and molested her. The girl narrated her ordeal to her mother when she returned home.
After hearing to what happened with her daughter, the mother of the victim lodged a complaint at Samalkha police station. Acting on the complaint, the police arrested Sachin and later court slapped with imprisonment.

The court also ordered that in case of non-payment of fine, Sachin will have to undergo imprisonment for another year.
