7 killed, 11 injured in S. Korean fire at dormitory-style housing As many as seven were killed and eleven others were injured when a fire broke out in a dormitory-style building in South Korea on Friday. A dormitory-style housing is a type where room stands side-by-side. The second and third floors are rented out to people. And the first and ground floor is rented to restaurants. According to the media reports, more than 50 residents were inside the building at the time when the fire broke out. Seven people were killed and eleven others were injured. Most of the victims were day laborers aged between 40 and 60.  The fire broke out around 5:00 am (local time). It took two hours to extinguish the fire. The police and firefighter officials told that they are investigating the matter and trying to find out the real cause of the incident. -PTC NEWS
