72-year-old woman dies in wall collapse in Jammu and Kashmir
A 72-year-old died after a wall of a house collapsed in the early hours of Monday in Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place in Doda district Jammu and Kashmir. The deceased has been identified as Seetu Devi (72).

According to the media reports, the victim was fast asleep when the wall collapsed on her. She got buried under the debris of the wall. The house was made of mud and stone and had a wooden roof. As there has been heavy snowfall for the last week in this region, the roof couldn’t withstand the weight of the snow. As a result, the wall collapsed.

According to Station House Officer, SHO of the region, Seetu Devi died on the spot. The police reached the spot and retrieved the body from the debris.
