Ahead of Punjab elections, ex-Mohali Mayor Kulwant Singh joins AAP
Ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections 2022, former Mohali Mayor Kulwant Singh joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the presence of party leaders Bhagwant Maan and Raghav Chadha on Monday.
Speculations are rife that former Mohali Mayor Kulwant Singh is likely to be named party candidate from Mohali constituency for the Punjab Assembly elections 2022.

He entered the political fray in mid 90s, when he became the president of the Mohali Municipal Council (MC). He became the first Mayor of Mohali in 2015. His connect with Mohali city during his mayoral tenure could benefit him.

"I am very impressed from the Arvind Kejriwal's model of governance in Delhi. That is the main reason I decided to join the AAP," said Kulwant Singh.
