Punjab school News: In view of the coronavirus situation in Punjab, the state government has announced preparatory leaves for the students.
According to the information, the schools in Punjab would only be opened for teachers and those students who have queries regarding the exams. Such students can come to school on a voluntary basis.
The final board exams 2021 for Classes 10 and 12 will be held from April 10 and March 22, respetively.
Recently, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, SBS Nagar, Fatehgarh Sahib imposed a night curfew in the wake of the rising coronavirus cases.
It may be recalled that, in the wake of the coronavirus situation in Punjab, several curbs were announced by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. It ordered a limit of 100 on indoor gatherings and 200 on outdoor gatherings from March 1.
Also, he asked the officials to ensure strict enforcement of mask and social distancing, etc, with testing to be ramped to 30,000 a day.
Even as the CM has said that the private offices and restaurants would be encouraged to display the last tests done for all employees.
