34 Naxals, including three women, surrender in Chhattisgarh

Thirty-four Naxals including three women, surrendered before the police in Chhattisgarh on Monday. Naxals laid down their arms before Sukma Superintendent of Police, DS Maravi at Errabor police station.

Chhattisgarh 34 Naxals, including three women, surrender in Chhattisgarh

According to media sources, these 34 Naxals were low rung functionaries. They were involved in cases involving an attempt to murder, loot in Manikonta, Gaganpalli, Kongdam, Mettaguda and Maraiguda villages.

The police said that 17 out of 34 had permanent arrest warrants issued against their names.
