Angry and disappointed Anganwadi workers burn effigy of Punjab Government in Tarn Taran, Punjab on Thursday.

During their state-level protest against the state government, members of the All-Punjab Anganwadi Employees’ Union protested on the Bathinda- Talwandi sabo highway this morning.

Its been a continues protest for the last 94 days, as per sources.

Anganwadi workers said they will intensify agitation if the Punjab Government did not full fill their demands.

The Anganwadi workers blocked the road and demanded the release of workers who were arrested during an on going protest in Bathinda on Wednesday. If their demands are not fulfilled, they will go on a hunger strike for 6 months, the workers said.

They also said that we will aware people in Shahkot about the wrong doings of Congress if they do not listen to our demands.
