Lucknow: 4 coaches of Puri-Haridwar-Kalinga Utkal Express derails in Muzaffarnagar's Khatauli. The incident occurred at Khatuali region.
As per reports, a dozen people were injured as rescue operations are currently underway.
Unconfirmed reports say five persons have died in a hospital while they were being treated. At least 34 injured have reportedly been rushed to hospitals.
"The injured passengers will be given complete treatment. Directions have been issued for all possible assistance," Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said in a tweet.
