Ferozpur: Counter Intelligence wing arrested a person recovered heroine and drug money

Ferozpur -Counter Intelligence wing arrested a person recovered heroine and drug money: On the tip off, the counter intelligence wing arrested a person Balvir Singh and recovered heroin and drug money. The arrested person was on police hunt since long.

Earlier, police had arrested Surjit Singh son of Balvir Singh resident of Pojo ke Uttar and claimed that they have cracked the chain of supply of heroin.

Talking to the media persons in the press conference today Narinder Pal Singh, , AIG CI said that Surjit Singh was arrested three days back in a joint operation by the Border Security Force- BSF and Counter Intelligence – CI with the recovery of heroin whilst Surjit Singh managed to flee from the spot.

AIG told that a search operation was carried out on the tip off and arrested Balvir Singh with 270 gms of heroine and and sum of Rs 4 lakh. A case has been registered under NDPS act .
