PTC Web Desk:  Actress Rashmika Mandanna has reportedly sustained a serious injury while shooting for one of her upcoming films. According to multiple media reports, the actress suffered a complete hip tendon detachment after falling during a dance and action sequence.

Although there has been no official confirmation from Rashmika or her team, the reported injury has raised concerns among fans, especially as the actress is currently working on multiple high-profile projects.

Accident reportedly happened during dance sequence

As per reports, the incident took place on the sets of either Ranabaali or Mysaa while Rashmika was filming an intense dance sequence that also involved action choreography.

The shoot was reportedly stopped immediately after the accident, and crew members rushed the actress to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Doctors recommend six weeks of complete rest

Reports suggest that medical examinations confirmed a complete hip tendon detachment, an injury that doctors reportedly described as uncommon among actors.

According to the reports, such tendon injuries are usually seen in professional athletes who undergo intense physical training.

Doctors have reportedly advised Rashmika to take six weeks of complete rest, followed by a structured rehabilitation programme to allow the tendon to heal properly before she resumes work.

The reported recovery plan means her ongoing film shoots, promotional activities and commercial commitments are likely to be delayed.

Official statement still awaited

Despite widespread reports about the accident, Rashmika Mandanna and her team have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident or her medical condition.

Fans are now waiting for an update from the actress on her recovery and return to work.

Busy line-up of upcoming projects

Before the reported injury, Rashmika had been balancing multiple film projects along with several endorsement campaigns. She recently resumed shooting for Mysaa after her wedding to actor Vijay Deverakonda.

Directed by debutant Rawindra Pulle and backed by Unformula Films, Mysaa is an emotional action thriller set against the culturally rich backdrop of the Gond tribes. Rashmika plays a Gond woman in what is being described as one of the most challenging and performance-driven roles of her career.

Third film with Vijay Deverakonda

Rashmika is also starring in Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The Telugu period drama is set during the British Raj and presents a fictional story inspired by lesser-known chapters of Indian history.

Scheduled for release on September 11, the film reunites Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda on screen for the third time, making it one of the most anticipated Telugu releases of the year.

With both projects currently in production, fans will be hoping the actress makes a full recovery and returns to filming soon. Until an official statement is released, the reports regarding the nature and extent of her injury remain unconfirmed.
