Gurmeet Ram Rahim seeks 21-day emergency parole to meet his ailing mother

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is currently in Rohtak's Sunaria jail, has sought an 'emergency parole' to meet his ailing mother.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim is serving a 20-year jail term in Rohtak's Sunaria jail since 2017. He has been convicted of raping two of his women disciples.

Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is currently in Rohtak's Sunaria jail, has sought an 'emergency parole' to meet his ailing mother.The Dera Chief has submitted some documents regarding the ailment of his mother to the prison authorities. Ram Rahim has sought 21-day parole to meet his ailing mother Naseeb Kaur.

Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is currently in Rohtak's Sunaria jail, has sought an 'emergency parole' to meet his ailing mother.

Following his emergency parole plea, the Sunaria jail superintendent Sunil Sangwan said that they have written to the Haryana Police in this regard and sought NoC from them.

The officials also forwarded the documents to the concerned authorities for verification.

Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who is currently in Rohtak's Sunaria jail, has sought an 'emergency parole' to meet his ailing mother.

Notably, the Dera chief had earlier been given one-day parole to meet his ailing mother in October 2020. Last week, he was admitted to the PGIMS hospital in Rohtak with complaints of dizziness and blood pressure fluctuations.

In August 2017, the Dera chief was sentenced by a special CBI court in Panchkula to 20 years in jail in the two rape cases.
