New Delhi: Delhi Daredevils skipper Zaheer Khan is all set to miss Tuesday's Indian Premier League ( IPL) clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad due to a hamstring injury.

The 38-year-old sustained the hamstring strain during Delhi's seven-wicket defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on Friday.

In his absence, Karun Nair will lead the team against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in the national capital.

"He will be monitored as we go along. Karun Nair will continue to be the stand in captain for tomorrow's game," said a Delhi Daredevils statement.

Zaheer has notched up a total of seven wickets from seven matches.

Delhi Daredevils are currently standing on the bottom of the table, having registered only two wins from eight matches they played so far.
