Jammu and Kashmir: 8 LeT terrorist associates arrested for circulating threatening posters in Sopore

As many as eight terrorist associates have been arrested in Sopore district of Jammu and Kashmir, in connection with threatning and intimidation of locals by publishing and circulating the posters on the instructions of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) unit. These eight terrorist associates are accused of manufacturing threatning posters and circulating them in the local areas.

These eight people have been identified as Aijaz Mir, Omar Mir, Tawseef Najar, Imitiyaz Najar, Omar Akbar, Faizan Latief, Danish Habib, and Showkat Ahmad Mir, reported Times Now. As per reports, there is a local terrorist named Sajad Mir alias Haidar and his other associates Muddasir Pandith and Asif Maqbool Bhat are working for terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). On the instructions of LeT militants, these posters were being manufactured.

Meanwhile, the police has recovered and seized the computers, others accessories and incriminating material which was being used for drafting and publishing the posters. Likewise, the police have started the further investigation into the complicity of terrorists in the recent attack of civilians in the area.
