JEE Advanced 2020 exam postponed; here is the new date

In a major development, the dates for JEE Advanced 2020 or IIT JEE exam have been postponed. As per the revised schedule available on jeeadv.ac.in, the examination would now be conducted on September 27, 2020. Earlier, the proposed date of the JEE Advanced 2020 exam was September 23, 2020.

The exam would be computer-based and would be conducted in the morning and afternoon for B.Tech and B.Arch courses respectively. The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Delhi would conduct the JEE Advanced 2020 this year.

According to the revised schedule, the seat allocation process is likely to be completed by November 9. Due to delays caused by the outbreak of coronavirus induced lockdowns, the process of admissions to IITs has been delayed. The classes in IITs are expected to resume after the completion of the seat allocation process. There has been no clarification about whether the classes would be online or offline.
