In Delhi, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 183.50, bringing the new rate down to Rs 2,930. In Patna, the price has been cut by Rs 173. However, the price of the 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder remains unchanged for July.

The latest LPG prices are:

City Domestic LPG (14.2 kg) Commercial LPG (19 kg)

Delhi         Rs 942.00                      Rs 2,930.00

Mumbai Rs 941.50                      Rs 2,885.50

Kolkata Rs 968.00                      Rs 3,072.00

The price of the 5-kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinder has also been reduced by Rs 13. After the revision, the retail price of the 5-kg FTL cylinder in Delhi is Rs 808.50.

The price cut comes after several changes in LPG rates over recent months. In June, domestic LPG cylinder prices were increased by Rs 29, raising the cost of a 14.2-kg cylinder in Delhi from Rs 913 to Rs 942. Earlier, on March 7, oil marketing companies had increased domestic LPG prices by Rs 60 per cylinder due to disruptions in global energy markets caused by the conflict in West Asia.
