PM Narendra Modi and Bangladeshi PM Sheikh Hasina jointly exchanged seven agreements

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi. Earlier, both the leaders met on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, last month. "PM Modi and Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina held excellent discussions on all aspects of the ever-expanding India-Bangladesh relation," MEA Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said. Both the leaders witnessed the exchange of seven documents in the areas of connectivity, security, education among others.
- Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) on the use of Chattogram and Mongla ports.
- MoU on withdrawal of 1.82 cusecs of water from Feni river by India for drinking water supply, scheme for Sabroom town, Tripura, India.
- Agreement concerning the implementation of Gol Line of Credits (LOC) extended to Bangladesh.
- MoU between the University of Hyderabad and the University of Dhaka.
- Renewed Cultural Exchange Programme
- MoU on Co-operation in Youth Affairs.
- MoU on providing Coastal Surveillance System
