Bharat Jodo Yatra: Rahul Gandhi pays obeisance at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib

Fatehgarh Sahib, January 11: As Bharat Jodo Yatra enters Punjab, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid obeisance at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib in Punjab on Wednesday morning.  

Former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Saini, Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Chaudhary Rana accompanied Rahul Gandhi at Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib.

On this occasion, great enthusiasm was seen among the Congress workers. 

Meanwhile, Congress leader on Tuesday also visited Golden Temple in Amritsar as the Bharat Yatra entered Punjab.    

Bharat Jodo Yatra was dedicated to women and women's empowerment, as women Bharat Yatris matched steps with the Congress leader.


In the meantime, the Bharat Jodo Yatra will cover several parts of Punjab and will come to end on January 19. 

Braving the biting cold and severe fog, party supporters and locals gathered in large numbers, extending their support to Rahul Gandhi.

Notably, Rahul Gnadhi’s yatra started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7, will end at Srinagar on January 30. 

The Bharat Jodo Yatra covered several parts such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
