PTC News Desk:  The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday adjourned the hearing till Monday on a plea from Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia seeking bail in an disproportionate assets (DA) case registered by the state Vigilance Bureau on June 25.

The matter has been deferred for Monday after extensive arguments from both the sides.

Currently, Majithia is incarcerated in Patiala's Nabha Jail.

The vigilance bureau arrested Majithia on June 25 in disproportionate assets case. Earlier on August 25, a trial court dismissed his plea seeking anticipatory bail following which Majithia moved Punjab and Haryana High Court to seek relief.
