Mohali police arrest youth accused of issuing death threat to singer Mankirt Aulakh

PTC Web Desk: The Mohali police have arrested a youth accused of issuing a death threat to Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh. An FIR had been registered at Mataur police station after the singer reportedly received the threat recently.

The accused has been identified as Harjinder Singh, a resident of Chandigarh’s Khudda Jassu area under Sarangpur police station limits. The police said the youth had been living in Italy for several years and had changed his name to Ravinder Singh.

The accused was apprehended at the Delhi airport while allegedly attempting to flee abroad. The police said further investigation is underway.
