Punjabi singer Inder Kaur murder case: Postmortem reveals two bullet injuries
New details have emerged in Punjabi singer Inder Kaur’s death case after the postmortem revealed two bullet injuries. Police are investigating the alleged murder in Ludhiana
PTC Web Desk: Fresh details have emerged in the death case of Punjabi singer Inder Kaur after the postmortem report reportedly confirmed that she suffered two gunshot wounds.
According to reports, one bullet passed through the right side of her chest, while another was recovered from her forehead during the examination. Her body was found on May 19 near the Neelo canal area in Ludhiana's Samrala, while her car was later recovered a few km away from the spot.
The police have registered a murder case against NRI Sukhwinder Singh, also known as Sukhi Brar, along with his father Pritam Singh and two of his aides. The police have already arrested the father and the two friends in connection with the case.
Investigators suspect the crime may be linked to a personal dispute. The police earlier claimed that the accused allegedly wanted to marry Inder Kaur, but she had refused after learning that he was already married.
Meanwhile, the legal counsel representing Sukhwinder Singh has denied the murder allegations and questioned the police investigation. The defence has argued that the case could be a suicide rather than a planned killing.
Investigations are underway.
