Punjab Assembly elections 2021: SAD announces five more candidates

Punjab Assembly elections 2021: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), led by Sukhbir Singh Badal, on Monday announced five more candidates.

They are Heera S Gabhria (Ludhiana south), Vir S Lopoke from (Raja Sansi), Mohinderpal Rinwa from (Abohar), Dr Nishan S from (Budhlada) and Hav Baldev S Manuke from Nihal S Wala.

Information in this regard was tweeted by senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Dr Daljit Singh Cheema.

Earlier, in the run-up to the Punjab Assembly elections 2021, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), led by Sukhbir Singh Badal, had announced 64 candidates while trying to striking a balance among the party’s old guards and fresh faces.

The SAD would contest on 97 seats and spare 20 for its alliance partner Bahujan Samaj Party under a pre-poll deal.
