Punjab Congress revokes suspension of MLA Kulbir Singh Zira

The Punjab Congress revoked the orders of suspension of Member of legislative assembly (MLA) Kulbir Singh Zira on Friday. Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar revoked the suspension orders after a meeting of Punjab legislators, office bearers and party leaders in Chandigarh.

Kulbir Singh Zira was suspended from party for indiscipline following public outburst against the  State government  and administration during oath taking ceremony of Panches and sarpanches.

Congress MLA Kulbir Singh Zira had questioned Punjab CM Amarinder Singh’s Drug Drive at oath ceremony function in Ferozepur . A day after his public outburst , Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) President Sunil Jakhar had suspended congresss MLA from  the primary membership of Congress.

Meanwhile , Kulbir Singh Zira thanked Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, PPCC chief Sunil Jakhar and Punjab Congress in-charge Asha Kumari for reinstating faith and trust onto him.
