Indian legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has extended her support to Indian Women's Hockey Captain Rani Rampal who has been nominated for World Games Athlete of the Year 2019.

Rani Rampal took to twitter seeking support from the nation. She wrote: "Come on India ?? let’s win this award “World Athlete of the Year 2019” for our country. Keep voting everyday and share it with your friends."
Likewise, Sachin Tendulkar responded to her tweet and wrote: "Rani Rampal, our Indian Women's Hockey Team Captain has been nominated for World Games Athlete of the Year 2019. Let's help her win this title and make India proud by voting for her!"
