Dera Bassi, June 10: At least six armed miscreants allegedly snatched a bag carrying Rs 1 crore in cash from a property dealer outside a bank here in Punjab's Dera Bassi on Friday.
It is learnt that the armed youths came on two motorcycles. The incident was reported near Barwala Chowk at Dera Bassi.

The victim, property dealer Harjeet Nagpal, was carrying a bag with cash. As soon as these armed miscreants came close to him, he raised the alarm. Immediately, three fruit-sellers started chasing the youths. However, one of the miscreants opened fire on a fruit-seller, who was hit in the head. He was taken to Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh, where his condition is stated to be critical.

Meanwhile, the police have rounded up at least three persons from a flat on VIP road.
