Amritsar: Police arrest killer of Anganwadi Union president Paramjit Kaur
Amritsar, September 17: In a recent development, Police have arrested the killer of Anganwadi Union president Paramjit Kaur.
The murder accused has been identified as Rana Pratap Singh, son of Sukhwant Singh from Baharwal. The police revealed the information during a press conference on Saturday.
The President of Anganwadi Union, Bibi Paramjit Kaur was murdered in Baharwal village of Amritsar.
She was Anganwadi Union Chogawa and a member of Anganwadi Union Amritsar and had been working for these unions for 20 years.

As per the statement by her son Kuldeep Singh, his mother Paramjit Kaur was alone at the home when the murder took place.
"Some unidentified people attacked her with sharp weapons and seriously injured her. When people gathered on hearing the noise, the attackers fled taking advantage of the darkness," he had informed.
