Amritsar, June 14: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on Tuesday displayed the portraits of former head granthi of Akal Takht Sahib Giani Bhagwan Singh and 'Qaumi Shaheed' Bhai Dilawar Singh at Central Sikh Museum, situated inside Golden Temple, Amritsar. The portraits were unveiled by SGPC president Advocate Harjinder Singh and additional head granthi of the Golden Temple, Amritsar, Giani Jagtar Singh. Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said keeping in view their services, the portraits of Shaheed Bhai Dilawar Singh and Giani Bhagwan Singh had been displayed at Central Sikh Museum. The decision of sacrificing self is not possible without the Guru’s blessing and whenever atrocities were committed on the Qaum (community/nation), Sikhs have always made history by making sacrifices”, said Advocate Dhami. He described Panthak services of Giani Bhagwan Singh for the 'Qaum' as important. The family members of Shaheed Bhai Dilawar Singh and Giani Bhagwan Singh were honoured with 'siropaos' by the SGPC president.
