Arvind Trivedi, who played Ravana in Ramayan, passes away
Ramayana Ravana actor Arvind Trivedi Death: Veteran actor Arvind Trivedi, who played Ravana in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, died on Tuesday at the age of 82.
As per the report, the veteran actor was unwell for some time. Reportedly, he suffered a heart attack and organ failure.

Arvind Trivedi's nephew Kaustubh Trivedi confirmed the news of the Ramayana actor's death and also revealed the cause of it.

Kaustubh said that “he was not well for quite some time, but he suffered a heart attack and that led to multi-organ failure." The last rites will take place at Dahanukarwadi crematorium, Kandivali West, in Mumbai on Wednesday morning.
Arvind Trivedi featured in Ramayan, which also starred Aruv Govil, Dipika Chikhlia, and Sunil Lahiri as Ram, Sita, and Lakshman, respectively.
The show went on air from January 1987 to July 1988. It aired on TV again during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
Last year, a video of Arvind Trivedi watching the Ramayan scene where Ravana kidnaps Sita, went viral on social media. He was seen getting emotional and praying to the screen.
Apart from Ramayan, he also played pivotal roles in Vikram Aur Betaal. He acted in around 250 films, specifically in the Gujarati film industry.
