Air India Express starts daily Pune-Amritsar direct flight service | Check schedule and timings
PTC Web Desk: Air India Express has expanded its domestic network with the introduction of a daily non-stop flight between Pune and Amritsar, offering faster and more convenient travel between the two key cities.
The inaugural service commenced on June 15, providing direct connectivity between Maharashtra's prominent educational and industrial hub and Punjab's revered spiritual destination. The new route is expected to benefit a wide range of travellers, including tourists, pilgrims, students and business professionals.
According to the flight schedule, the aircraft departs Pune at 1.20 am and reaches Amritsar at 4.10 am. The return flight takes off from Amritsar at 5 am and lands in Pune at 7.50 am. The service will be available every day of the week.
With the addition of the new route, Air India Express now operates nearly 105 weekly flights from Pune to 12 destinations, including Abu Dhabi. From Amritsar, the airline currently runs 24 weekly services connecting the city with Delhi, Dubai, Pune and Sharjah.
The airline said passengers can make bookings and purchase additional services such as hot meals, priority boarding and other travel add-ons through its website, mobile app and authorised booking channels.
Air India Express stated that the launch forms part of its broader expansion plan aimed at strengthening domestic and international connectivity while offering more travel choices to customers.
