Bank Holidays in May 2021: Banks across the country will remain closed for up to 12 days in several cities in May 2021.
These holidays in banks include weekends and festivals. As per the RBI guidelines, the banks will remain closed on public holidays while several holidays vary from state to state and only the gazetted holidays were observed by the banks across the country.

Meanwhile, both the private and public sector banks would remain closed on the second, fourth Saturday, and all Sundays of each month.
As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the banks in several states will remain closed on May 14, 2021, on account of Eid-UI-Fitra.
