Baramulla encounter: One terrorist killed by security forces
Baramulla encounter: One terrorist has been killed in an encounter that broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The Kashmir Zone Police stated that one unidentified terrorist killed in an encounter with police and security forces at Wanigam Payeen Kreeri area of Baramulla. The operation is still underway.

Earlier, the information regarding the Baramulla encounter started in Jammu and Kashmir.
The incident took place when the security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Wanigam Payeen in Kreeri area of Baramulla district of north Kashmir on Thursday morning following the input received about the presence of terrorists in the area.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that 4 Al-Bader terrorists were held in Awantipora during a search operation.
Concealed arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession during a search of the area.
Likewise, one AK56 rifle, one AK56 magazine, 28 rounds of ammunition, and one hand grenade were recovered.
