Bathinda: Four cops suspended for framing man in NDPS case
Bathinda: In a major incident, the district police has suspended four officials including IA Staff 1 in charge Inspector Amritpal Singh Bhatti, ASI Ravi and constables Gurpal Singh and Kulwinder Singh. These four officials are accused of falsely implicating an innocent person in an NDPS case. Earlier, on July 8, the CIA booked Kuldeep Singh, Ranjit Singh and Supreme Singh, who hailed from Jangirana village in the district, under the act of NDPS. Likewise, the CIA claimed that they have seized 50 gram of heroin from their possession. It is pertinent to mention that the family members of the accused Kuldeep Singh filed a complaint to the IGP, Bathinda Range, MF Farooqui, where they stated that Kuldeep Singh has been falsely framed in the case, as he is innocent.
