Behbal Kalan Firing case: Police officials’ plea seeking anticipatory bail hearing adjourned till Feb 1
The Faridkot district and sessions court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of the plea filed by three police officials seeking anticipatory bail application till February 1 due to on going strike by district court lawyers.

Inspector Pardeep Kumar , former SP Bikram-jeet Singh and former SHO Amarjeet Singh Kular had applied for anticipatory bail in Faridkot court seeking bail in a case related to killings of two Sikh protesters at Behbal Kalan in Faridkot in October 2015.

Former SSP Moga Charanjeet Sharma and five other police officials were summoned to appear before the SIT in Chandigarh on January 29. However; no one appeared before the SIT at their Chandigarh office on Jan 29.
