This year seems to be unfortunate for music industry as this year we lost many irreplaceable singers. From losing diva of India, Lata Mangeshkar to the sudden demise of Bappi Lahiri to the murder of young artist Sidhu Moose Wala and now KK, the industry is facing one setback after another. Well- known Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known as KK, passed away on Tuesday evening. One of the most versatile singers of the Indian film industry, KK has recorded songs in several languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali. KK is best known for his songs like "Zindagi Do Pal Ki" from the movie Kites, "Aankhon Mein Teri" from the movie Om Shanti Om, "Khuda Jaane" from the movie Bachna Ae Haseeno, "Tadap Tadap" from the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. kk5 On May 29, Punjabi cinema industry lost the popular young artist  Sidhu Moosewala as he was shot dead by unidentified gunmen. He was in his car when the attackers blocked him and fired more than 30 shots at him. Alokesh alias Bappi Lahiri, the 'Disco King,' died on February 15, 2022, at the age of 69. He began conducting at the age of 19, and his career took off with the film 'Zakhmee' (1975), for which he composed music and also sang, propelling him to the upper echelons at the tender age of just 22.
