Case registered against SHO Parminder Singh bajwa by Punjab Police
Punjab Police registers case against Mehatpur SHO Parminder Singh Bajwa on Friday afternoon. The case was registered under section 353, 186 of the IPC. He has been arrested under non bailable arrest warrant, SHO, Navi Baradari confirmed. Mehatpur SHO Parminder Singh Bajwa has been detained by the Punjab Police on Friday morning. He was arrested on the recommendation of ASI Sukhwinder Pal Singh and CJM. He on Friday visited district courts and sought security for himself. The SHO was detained from the court premises by the police. He went to the court room, taking along his personal revolver, which was taken by the court security staff. Speaking with the media, just before he was ducked inside the police vehicle from outside the court, he alleged threat to him “from police and the administration”. The SHO had on Monday said that he would not sign the case cancellation report of the FIR against the MLA with the ilaqa magistrate. He came to Jalandhar Session Court along with his lawyer, seeking security and protection after he registered an FIR against Punjab Congress candidate Hardev Singh Laddi for the Shahkot bypoll. -PTC News
