New Delhi, April 6: The price of compressed natural gas (CNG) in Delhi has been hiked again by Rs 2.5 per kilogram on Wednesday. With this, the retail cost of CNG in the national capital territory of Delhi has jumped to Rs 66.61/kilogram, as per the information shared on the website of Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), the firm which retails CNG in the national capital. The price of CNG has surged by Rs 6.6 per kg in the last five days. The most recent hike, which was also Rs 2.5 kg, was effected on April 4. Revised CNG rates - CNG prices have been raised to Rs 69.18 per kg in Ghaziabad, Noida, and Greater Noida, and Rs 74.94 per kg in Gurugram. Inflation: CNG, PNG prices up by Rs 1 in Delhi; check new rates In Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli, CNG will now cost Rs 73.86 per kg, while people have to shell out Rs 77.07 per kg for CNG in Rewari. CNG cost has been raised to Rs 75.27 per kg in Karnal and Kaithal. In Kanpur, Hamirpur and Fatehpur, the CNG price is Rs 78.40 per kg, while in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand, it is Rs.76.89 per kg. CNG Prices Hiked Today, Rates Raised By Rs 2.5 Per Kg According to a price notification from state fuel retailers, petrol in Delhi will now cost 105.41 per litre, up from 104.61 Tuesday and diesel rates will go up from 95.87 per litre to 96.677. In Mumbai, the fuel prices climbed by 85 paise; petrol price was hiked by 84 paise at Rs 120.51 and diesel prices per litre went up by 84 paise at Rs 104.77. Fuel prices have been hiked across the country and vary from state to state depending upon the incidence of local taxation.
